Should I keep the bus joke thing in the story or not?

The reason I'm asking? While everyone in the audience actually understood the story, two teachers actually pointed out one flaw about the storytelling in that animatic. They suggested that the last part with the bus shaddow should be taken out because people would completely forget that the cat wants to reach the bus, so making it appear in the end makes the "appearance" of the bus obsolete.

So, your opinion on this? Do you prefer to keep the bus in the end, or just completely take out all the bus parts (which also include the bus stop in the beginning of the movie)?

If you can answer this, that would be greatly appreciated (I need this for tomorrow, lulz)

EDIT: THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR OPINION! This helped me greatly! Not only I could explain that even moar people understood the whole thing, but now I get to keep the bus without problem AND he found another simple solution about it! I love you all guys and girls!

Wow, vacations are already over and I already have tons of homeworks! So let's begin with everything!

1- All right, on our Fire Emblem forum, there is a project going up! It's about a new Fire Emblem OC (original character) game projected as comic format! You can find all the info on this site! 1.) I've been in love only once in my life, and that guy turned out to be an emo coward in the end. Oh well, that's life. I haven't loved anyone else since.

2.) I have a diploma in 2D animation, but I'm not working in this, lol. Now I'm studying 3D animation in the same college.

7.) I won an ice sculpture contest in high school once! I won 200$ which I used for a school trip to New York city. I was the only student who didn't sign up for the trip back then because my parents and myself couldn't afford it. Thanks to the contest, I could!

8.) People see me as usually gentle (with a grumpy look) in real life, but I'm actually extremely blunt at my job.

9.) I don't watch TV, at all. Not anymore. I might watch movies once in a while, but that's all.
